User Connectors

User connectors enable Abacus.AI to access data sources under each end user’s own identity, rather than through shared credentials. Every query executes with the user’s database permissions/user roles, ensuring that established role-based access control (RBAC) policies are consistently enforced and that access is attributable to specific individuals.

This model enhances security and governance by eliminating credential sharing, adhering to the principle of least privilege, and producing per-user audit trails. It integrates with existing identity and authorization controls in your database, aligning with enterprise compliance requirements while minimizing operational overhead.
