Data Deletion Requests for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Connectors

Overview​

At Abacus AI, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data.

If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to Abacus AI using a Meta connector, you may request deletion of any personal data associated with that connection at any time.

This page explains how to submit a deletion request and what happens after we receive it.

What data may be stored?​

Depending on the connector and features you use, Abacus AI may store limited information required to provide the requested functionality, such as:

  • Your Meta account identifier
  • Basic profile information authorized through Meta Login
  • Access tokens (encrypted)
  • Connector configuration
  • Activity logs related to connector execution
  • Content or metadata that you explicitly choose to synchronize with Abacus AI

We only use this information to provide the services you requested.

How to request deletion​

If you would like us to delete data associated with your Meta account:

Please include:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your Abacus AI account
  • The Meta account (Facebook or Instagram) connected to Abacus AI
  • Any additional details that will help us locate your data

What happens next?​

Once we verify your request, we will:

  • Remove your Meta connector
  • Delete associated authentication credentials
  • Delete personal data that is no longer required to provide the service
  • Confirm completion by email

Most requests are completed within 30 days.

Data we may retain​

Certain information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Security logs
  • Fraud prevention records
  • Billing records
  • Legal compliance records

Any retained information will only be kept for the legally required purpose and duration.

Disconnecting your Meta account​

You can also revoke Abacus AI's access directly from your Facebook account:

  1. Open Facebook Settings
  2. Navigate to Apps and Websites
  3. Locate Abacus AI
  4. Click Remove

Removing the app from Facebook revokes future access. If you also want your data removed from Abacus AI, please submit a deletion request using the instructions above.
