Abacus AI Agent can operate a real browser and desktop — clicking, typing, and navigating just like you do.

Some work can't be done through an API: filling forms, working across many tabs, using sites that have no integration, or operating desktop software. For these, Abacus AI Agent uses computer use — it drives a real browser or desktop environment, sees the screen, and acts on it. On your own machine, the Abacus AI Desktop app brings the agent alongside everything you already use.

How to Use It​

  1. Describe the web or desktop workflow you want done — the agent decides when it needs a real browser.
  2. For recurring browser workflows, schedule them as a Task so they run hands-free.
  3. For work on your own machine, install the Abacus AI Desktop app and ask the agent for help right where you work.
tip

Prefer connectors or APIs when they exist — they're faster and cheaper than driving a browser. Use computer use for the sites and flows that have no integration. See Self-Improving Tasks and Agents for how connectors, schedules, and automation fit together.
